You've never been able to fake certainty. You test everything — not because you doubt God, but because you refuse to hand him a secondhand heart. Borrowed answers sit on you like borrowed clothes, and you'd rather walk further in the dark than settle early in the wrong house.
People misread the questions as distance. They're the opposite. You wrestle in private because it matters that much — and the ground you win by wrestling becomes ground other people stand on when their easy answers give out. Every generation needs someone who went and checked. That someone is you.
